We could write a book about how much we enjoyed working with Daniel and how much we love our home that he built for us. Construction planning and execution is a daunting job, but Goral and their amazing team of sub-contractors work together like a fine orchestra to produce homes that are simply beyond words to describe how well-built they are. We feel honored that we had the opportunity to work with Goral to build our beautiful dream home in La Jolla, CA. Our home started construction on the scheduled date and finished exactly in the month that was scheduled to be done. It was done flawlessly and beautifully. Daniel kept us in the loop, discussed all important matters and information weekly,  and gave us notice in advance to make the final choices to select materials so the project could move along with no delays.  

Our home was ready before Thanksgiving and every year we give thanks to Daniel Silberstein and his company for building a solid beautiful home for us that we love.

We contracted with Daniel Silberstein, the owner of Goral Construction to undertake our project which was to completely remodel our 3000' mid-century home (built in 1964) and add on an additional 2000'. The entire roof was reconstructed and all the windows, doors, plumbing, electrical, heating and flooring was completely renewed. In actuality, our remodel/addition project was significantly more difficult and complicated than building a brand new house. Demolition commenced towards the end of January 2013 and we moved into our completed home at the end of October, 9 months later. The sub-contractors were outstanding beginning with the demolition & framing all the way through to the finishes of the new construction. Due to Daniel's thorough knowledge of architecture & building, material financial savings were generated during the transition stage, this being an extremely favorable experience for us. Daniel has a positive attitude and he made us feel that our home was the only project with which he was involved in conjunction to displaying a calm demeanor at all times. He is professional and most importantly extremely efficient.

Our overall experience was outstanding and we have no hesitation in giving Daniel a top class rating regarding the manner in which our project was handled. We have remodeled & built many homes over the years and can say in all sincerity that this experience rates at the forefront. The tale of the tape is that we would only ever use Goral Construction if we were to undertake a construction in the future. A letter of this nature does not do Daniel full justice and in this regard my wife & I would be delighted to give a personal reference.

Daniel Silberstein is talented, kind, professional, respectful, and has so many other great qualities in a person and it all shines through in how he conducts his work. We are so happy Daniel built our house and although the process has been very long, considering Covid and building basically virtually from Texas, we would not have had it any other way. Every time any issue has arisen whatsoever, Daniel is always the first to assure us that nothing is a problem and that anything can be done. This basically should be his mantra. He has the most wonderful team of subs and crews and we have literally left them in the house while we are out of town because everyone is so trustworthy and responsible. We hired Goral Construction after interviewing 3 builders and it turned out to be the best decision we could've made for our first custom home. During the course of construction, we learned that Daniel is a person of high integrity and super clean. He deeply cares about his customers, subs, his reputation and is as honest and fair as they come. Not only are Daniel's fees very reasonable, but he is worth every penny. Daniel is very knowledgeable with construction and is well versed with city requirements, inspectors and has retained some great subs. Most importantly, Daniel was very patient, flexible with change orders, and charged us fairly for the same. He worked well with our Architect, Designers and advocated our interests, plus helped us make sound decisions in the process. His background in architecture helped tremendously throughout the process. He completed the project on time and went out of his way to finish the last mile on time and to our satisfaction. Daniel was very responsive with addressing any issues post move-in.

We engaged Goral Construction after bidding out the project to several companies. Part of the decision to go with Goral was based on the fact that Daniel was extremely detailed oriented and covered everything needed for the remodel of the house we purchased. The remodel was two rooms short of a complete tear down so it was important not to miscalculate. Daniel approached the project very professionally. He only made commitments that he could keep.
